Meet Amy
"Amy is a compassionate and insightful therapist, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater understanding and self-acceptance. Focusing on self-compassion, Amy works with clients who feel overwhelmed by personal or relational difficulties, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, or seeking spiritual growth. Amy creates a safe and welcoming environment where clients can feel seen and heard, empowering them to develop a kinder relationship with themselves and strengthen their emotional resilience.
As an EMDR-trained therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Amy uses this highly effective approach to help clients process distressing experiences. EMDR supports natural healing by addressing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors without the need to delve into detailed discussions of traumatic events. The goal is to help clients feel lighter, more empowered, and better equipped to navigate their lives with authenticity and self-assurance. Amy is committed to guiding clients toward greater clarity and joy using a blend of therapeutic techniques.
Amy offers in-person sessions in Fort Langley on Thursdays.
